I wish I had saved more pictures of this beautiful cake!

I made this for a friend’s daughter on her 7th birthday.  She wanted something purple with a lot of flowers and some butterflies.  Cake wish granted! 🙂

The daisies were all made from my homemade marshmallow fondant and dried overnight lightly placed in a cupcake tin, before being adhered to the cake.

The cake is a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting underneath and between layers.  It was then covered in homemade marshmallow fondant.  The base of each layer features a ribbon of Wilton’s fondant ribbon to give it an added fancy touch. 🙂
